CJ Luckey - Executive Director and Founder

CJ Luckey is a hip-hop artist and motivational speaker from Dallas, TX. CJ has spoken and performed for schools, camps and conferences around the country for 12 years. CJ provides a positive, uplifting and encouraging presentation and has found that blending hip-hop with a positive message is a sure way to captivate listeners while helping the message resonate in their hearts.


Laurian Etzel - Curriculum Coordinator

She designs and develops a social-emotional learning (SEL) and growth mindset curriculum aligned with CASEL frameworks and Carol Dweck’s research, integrating CJ Luckey’s empowering music. Her work focuses on embedding SEL into school culture, not just individual lessons, while supporting sustainable, growth-oriented learning environments. She collaborates with stakeholders, provides professional development, and supports educators in implementing the curriculum to foster student resilience, confidence, perseverance, and social-emotional skills.

She has 28 years of teaching experience and holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education. She is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) with certifications in Educational Leadership and ESOL. She co-created an NBCT cohort, serves as Coordinator of the McDaniel NBCT Cohort, and is an NBCT Lead Mentor. She has also been a Carroll County Outstanding Teacher of the Year nominee.


Jacquelyn Ivy - Administrative Assistant

Jacquelyn is the Administrative Assistant for the CAPS team, where she plays a key role in keeping daily operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly. Although new to the organization, she brings a year of dedicated training in virtual assistant work and a strong foundation in client support. Outside of work, Jacqui values quality time with family and friends and enjoys life with her beloved dog.
